A couple of weeks ago Gasclass posted a case that started out with what seemed like a hypertensive crisis which quickly evolved into an acute resuscitation. St. Emlyn’s also posted wrote a great post outlining drug-induced hyperthermia.
Although it’s relatively rare, some of the sickest patients I’ve seen are those with adverse drug reactions.
